Cancel a policy (original path)

Identical to Cancel a policy at /api/v2/shipping-insurance/cancellations — same request, same responses, same handler. Both paths are current and neither is scheduled for removal; Mulberry's own platform adapters call this one. /api/v2/shipping-insurance/cancellations is the name to reach for in a new integration, because the v2 set reads as a coherent group.

Identify the policy with either policy_uuid or external_order_id. Supplying neither is rejected.

uuid

Policy to cancel. Supply this or external_order_id. Takes precedence if both are supplied — the two are not cross-checked.

Your order ID, if you'd rather not track the policy UUID. Supply this or policy_uuid — one of the two is required.

Defaults to Order Cancelled
